Acteme documentation

Acteme turns a game script into mastered, engine-ready voice-over. You import your lines, cast a voice for each character, direct the delivery, batch-render takes and pull the files into Unity, Unreal or Godot.

These docs have two tracks. Using Acteme covers the studio at /app: the workflow for writers, audio leads and producers. Integrations covers the engine plugins and the MCP server, for getting audio into your game and letting AI agents work on your scripts.

How the pipeline fits together

  1. Script. Every line has a stable key, a character, the text to speak and an optional style note. Import from your existing spreadsheet or dialogue tool, or edit in the studio.
  2. Cast. Each character gets a voice, optionally a different one per language.
  3. Render. Acteme synthesizes each line, then trims, pads, loudness-normalizes and encodes it to your project's output spec. You pay only for audio that's actually rendered; failures and cache hits are refunded.
  4. Review. Listen, pick the best take, approve. Edits mark only the affected lines as stale.
  5. Deliver. Download a ZIP, or let an engine plugin or your build server sync the selected takes through the manifest.
